About Colosseum

Setting high standards
for an honest price/quality ratio.

Our history

1987

It all began in Kessel, a little town in Belgium where Martien Marien and Louis De Peuter started baking nuts (peanuts, cashew nuts and almonds) and selling them together with dried fruits on the street markets.

1987
1988

The demand for baked nuts rapidly expanded to other parts of Belgium. As a result, Colosseum chose to specialize in baked nuts by expanding its production machinery.

1988
1992

Colosseum moved from Kessel to Brussels (Belgium) and bought the roaster company Fadimex together with its brand Fadim.

1992
2003

The company moved to Tienen (Belgium) and decided to build a brand new factory. To this day, Colosseum’s production site remains in Tienen. The team works hard to enlarge the variety of products.
